DAISY Award recipient Glenn Estantino
Glenn Estantino, RN, BSN, was recognized this month with the prestigious DAISY Award, which recognize a nurse’s deep caring and compassion for the patients he serves.
Estantino joined Coast Plaza Hospital in April 2008. He currently works on the Med-Surg/ Telemetry unit.
The co-worker who nominated Estantino wrote, “Glenn is always sharp and very committed in providing excellent care to his team and patients. He goes out of his way to help if a physician or Nurse Practitioner needs help when the patient’s RN is busy. Glenn is knowledgeable, resourceful and friendly. I feel welcomed to come and work when he is around!”
