The recipient of our Exemplary Employee Award for July at is Evet Michael. This award recognizes outstanding employees who demonstrate their commitment to patients, family and co-workers through acts of caring, compassion and excellent customer service.
Michael is a Clinical Lab Scientist Lead in the Clinical Lab. She has worked at our hospital since August 2021. She was nominated by a co-worker who had this to say:
“Evet Michael shows exemplary leadership by setting a good example for being a dedicated employee and also as a leader. During the time that the laboratory is short staffed, she volunteers to work even graveyard shifts, which connects the support for the Clinicians as well as the different departments that need the continuous laboratory results for their patients. She always has the time to smile and also is available to help and support the laboratory as well as the hospital’s needs.”
