Four Pipeline Health nurses were honored in May with the prestigious DAISY Award recognizing their deep caring and compassion for the patients they serve. The following information describes each winner along with comments from the nominations received.
Mi Han, RN, is a house supervisor who was nominated by a telemetry nurse co-worker. She came to work at Coast Plaza Hospital in March 2016.
“Mimi is a ‘hands on’ supervisor. She never hesitates to help with anything, no task is too small or too big. I have seen her cleaning patients, feeding patients, talking to patients. She helps during codes. She is an example of what a great nurse should be!! I do not hesitate to come in to help when she calls because I know she will help. Mimi is also a wealth of knowledge and is always willing to share her knowledge with her colleagues.”
